Your creative life stays yours.
Unpause is a personal memory tool for creative projects, created and operated by Shivam Gupta.
Effective September 16, 2026.
Your projects stay on your device
Project names, notes, photos, material locations, session history, and your display name are saved locally in this browser or on your phone. Unpause does not upload that project content, sync it between devices, sell it, or use it to train AI models. Signing in does not sync your projects.
Clearing browser storage, uninstalling the app, or losing a device can remove local data. Use Your corner → Export a backup to keep a portable copy. Backup files contain your private notes and photos: keep them somewhere you trust.
Optional accounts and purchases
The hosted Unpause app uses Firebase Authentication. It processes your email address, authentication credentials, account identifier, and security-related service information. An account connects your Studio entitlement; the core local features work without one. The source also supports Supabase accounts in separately configured builds. Native account tokens use the operating system’s secure storage; web sessions use browser storage.
Where purchases are enabled, RevenueCat and the payment platform process customer identifiers, purchase records, and entitlement status. Unpause does not receive your payment-card details. Available payment methods and prices are shown by the payment provider before you confirm. An unavailable purchase service does not silently grant a purchase.
Photos and reminders are your choice
Photo-library or camera access is requested only when you choose to attach or take a photo. Images used by the app are stored with your local projects. Notification permission is requested only when you set a native reminder. Reminder titles may be visible on your lock screen. Browser reminders are not offered as if they were native notifications.
Website delivery and support
Firebase Hosting delivers this website. Hosting and account providers may process request information such as IP addresses, browser details, and timestamps to deliver and secure their services. Unpause includes no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics. Necessary browser storage keeps your projects, preferences, and any signed-in session.
If you email support, Shivam receives the information you choose to send and uses it to respond. Do not send passwords, payment-card information, or a full project backup unless it is needed and you choose to share it.
Your controls
Account deletion runs through a secure service hosted on Supabase. It verifies your Firebase login, removes the matching RevenueCat customer profile, and then removes your Firebase account. It stores hashed request identifiers for retry protection and rate limiting, never your project notes or photos. Retry authorization expires after five minutes; expired coordination records are cleaned up on later deletion requests.
You can export your projects and erase local data in Your corner. Deleting a connected account is a separate action there; it removes the login and linked customer profile without deleting local projects. Store payment and receipt records remain subject to the payment provider’s retention obligations. For account deletion help, access requests, or privacy questions, email shivam1720406@gmail.com.
Local project data stays until you erase it, your browser removes it, or you remove the app. Account and support data are kept while needed to provide the service, answer requests, or meet applicable obligations. This policy will be updated when the app’s data practices change.
Service providers
Read the providers’ policies for their own processing: Firebase privacy and security, Supabase privacy policy, and RevenueCat privacy policy. Your app store or web payment provider also supplies its own privacy information at checkout.
